Our Pastor, Robert Dyson has twentynine (29) years of ministry experience serving in a variety of staff positions across the country. Additionally, he has served as Lead Pastor in churches in Georgia, Virginia and Texas. He accepted Christ as his personal savior in July 1978.

As a child he attended the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with his Great-Great Grandmother in the Deep South (Delta), Greenville Mississippi. His family moved back to Texas and he became actively involved in ministry at the New Greater Emanuel Missionary Baptist Church, of Dallas Texas where his love for the scriptures began to blossom under the leadership of Pastor C.L. Veasey.

He preached his first sermon at age fourteen (14), August 1982. He has since served as a Youth Minister, Youth Pastor, Interim Pastor, Singles Ministry Pastor, Men’s Ministry Associate Pastor, Associate Pastor of Couples Ministry, Christian Education Associate Pastor and served on various community boards. He has tremendous love for hurting people, and people facing great challenges in their lives.

Pastor Dyson is a bi-vocational pastor working for the Department of Homeland Security since 2001, and prior to that he worked for the Department of Defense for fifthteen (15) years. As a Human Resource professional and servant of God, we believe the collective experiences of our Pastor along with his love for people and ability to preach with such profound insight yet provide listeners with practical application one verse at a time and one word at a time is a great blessing to our church and our community.

He has been married to First Lady, Tammy Wingfield Dyson of Atlanta, Georgia for twentyone (21) years they have one daughter, Destiny Dyson, age seventeen (17) and they live in Little Elm, Texas.
