Mission Statement:

Our Mission is to develop fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.  We will strive to meet people where they are, encouraging them to have a relationship with Jesus Christ and strive to develop healthy, reproducing followers of Christ.

Vision Statement:

Our vision is to be a community of followers of Jesus Christ effectively penetrating our local community and the world with the life-changing message and loving action of God’s mercy and grace.  The purpose of the church as identified in the Bible:  To bring people to Jesus and membership in His family, train them in the disciplines necessary for spiritual maturity, and equip them for their ministry in the church as well as life mission in the world, in order to magnify God.

Our History:

ICO McKinney is a new church plant in McKinney TX, previously the church was located in Desoto, Texas until February 2013.   The Ministry Operational Center of ICO Desoto remains in Desoto, Texas.

The ICO McKinney began with a small group of faithful believers meeting for home bible study and prayer weekly in the McKinney area and commuting for worship to ICO Desoto. Under the leadership Pastor Dyson worship services were expanded to Sundays in the McKinney area and our first building was secured in the area and we moved in on the first Sunday of February 2013.

We, ICO McKinney, are  believing God for great and wonderful things in the days ahead. We are a small growing church with a big vision for God and we are committed ourselves to the spreading of the truth of God’s Word to the ever-growing McKinney area. We believe our task is reflected in the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:18-20: To present Christ, pursue obedience to Him, and prepare others for Christian service.
